The Glue Smart Door Lock is easy to install yourself, and is compatible with the most common European lock types. You must be able to remove the original face of your Cylinder or Thumbturn in order to mount your Glue Smart Door Lock.

If you have both a Thumbturn and Key Cylinder mechanism on one plate, you will require the Glue Compatibility Kit to install your Glue Smart Door Lock. The compatibility kit includes an additional door plate and foam backing from which you can mount your lock on to.

Unscrew your old lock using the hex key
Remove your lock and swap over to the new lock
Fit your new lock using the two screws
Lastly, remove the battery tabs
If your batteries are running low, simply slide the front cover to the side, pull the battery tabs to release the old batteries and insert 4 new AA batteries. You can easily find the battery level from the home screen. Tap the battery icon to see the exact percentage. Make sure to replace your batteries right away if you’re running low.
When you (un)lock the door, do you turn the key at least 360º and pull the key out? You have a split plate.
